This the prime minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern. She is 37 and is the youngest female head of the government currently in power.
Recently she gave birth to her first baby and became the second woman(only after benazir bhutto) to give birth while being the head of the government. The person in the picture is not her husband, but partner.
A week after the delivery, she announced various packages aimed at helping the new born and their parents which included increased daily benefits, extended maternity leaves etc, via Facebook live from her couch right after breast feeding her baby. This act of her sends many signals to the public and has an effortless charm. Being a mother, she really understood the issues and reformed the law.
Kiwis are one of the most down to earth, not at all dramatic, and easy going people. When we see drama everywhere in politics around us, this lady prime minister is a refreshing change.
We too need such simple and genuine leaders. Respect!
