Mainly due to the fact that the ability to kill humans and the desire to kill humans are two different things.
For example, you have this fella:
“Ello!”
While the killer whale is certainly capable of killing humans, it doesn’t regularly feel the need to hunt us. It usually goes after other marine animals.
That’s the same thing with rhinos
I’m sure they could easily impale a human with their long horns. It’s just that he has other things to stab, like your new car.
His stats-twin, however, is different
This guy is a hippo. He’s able to tear us apart in one artiodactyl-sized chomp. Along with the ability, he has the desire. If he sees a boat sailing along, he will swim to it at a frightening speed (well, actually he’d just run on the river bed) and attack it. This has happened many times before. For example, an incident in which a hippo attacked a boat and killed 13 people, and injured others.
Answer: Though rhinos could kill a human, they don’t commonly want to.
