A photo began circulating online showing a man at the DMV holding a baby in his lap. What made the moment special is that the man and the baby were complete strangers. The baby’s parents had been sitting next to him while waiting for their turn. When the baby started getting restless and fussy, it unexpectedly crawled into the man’s lap.
The man didn’t push the baby away. Instead, he gently held the child, calming them instantly. While talking, he told the parents that he had recently moved from another state. It had been a very difficult year for him—he had lost his brother exactly a year earlier.
The parents then shared something that left everyone emotional: their baby had been born on the very same day the man’s brother passed away.
