Today, I was standing in line at the post office when a middle-aged worker helping us turned to me and said, “Do you mind if I ask you a question?” I quickly guessed he was probably going to ask about my birthmark (because that’s what most strangers ask me). I smiled and said, “Sure.”
Instead of asking me a question, he surprised me by saying, “My daughter has the same birthmark as you. And my niece has one too. I know people can be unkind about birthmarks like yours, but just ignore them. You are beautiful.”
I was really touched.
Dear sir, thank you for your kindness. You’re making the world a better place. ❤️
