Earl has nothing on Princess Libby

Earl has nothing on Princess Libby. Tomorrow, Libby will go in for her regular 4-month scan, and we’re sending her all our love, hope, and good wishes for clear results. Our 10-year-old medulloblastoma warrior has been fighting brain cancer since she was 5. A smart and funny girl, she named her tumor Earl — because, as she said, he had to go.

Libby has never let Earl win. She’s now cancer-free and doing great, having beaten Earl twice. She’s a true fighter — a swimmer who worked hard to return to her family (and her twin sister, Hannah). She also pushed through challenges from posterior fossa syndrome to get back to school, her team, and her life. She’s strong, brave, and unstoppable.

Libby and her family are now powerful voices for change — working for better funding, better treatments, and better outcomes for kids like her. And while the night before a scan is always filled with nerves and worry, we hope this brave, bright young girl and her family can rest peacefully tonight, knowing they are surrounded by love and support. You’ve got this, Libby.
