Last night became very stressful for a family with a young girl named Brynnley. She was taking a shower, and there was a glass cup sitting on a shelf inside the shower. Her mom had already told her not to touch it, but a few minutes later, the sound of glass breaking echoed through the house.
Her mother rushed into the bathroom and saw Brynnley stepping out of the shower. She quickly noticed that Brynnley’s foot was bleeding badly from a fresh cut. She pressed on the wound right away, but the bleeding did not stop at first. For a moment, she thought she might have to call 911, since she was home alone with the kids and Khris had not returned from work yet.
After holding steady pressure on the cut for about 5 to 10 minutes, the bleeding finally slowed and did not start again when she let go. She then got everyone into the car and drove straight to the emergency room. At the hospital, the doctors closed the cut with medical glue and taped Brynnley’s injured toe to the one next to it to keep it from bending too much while it healed.
Brynnley stayed home from school today, but everyone could see how tough she was the night before. She was scared, but she handled it with a lot of courage and strength.
