I had just gotten home from visiting a friend I hadn’t seen in over a year. On my way back, I noticed that my gas gauge was almost empty, so I pulled into the next gas station and filled up my tank. When I finished, I realized I hadn’t received a receipt, so I drove up to the entrance to go inside and ask the cashier for one.
This is where I say:
🙏🙏 PRAISE THE LORD AND THANK YOU, GOD!
When I got out of my car, I decided not to use my walker. I thought I could manage such a short distance on my own. But as I stepped up onto the curb from the street, I suddenly lost my balance and started falling backward into the street.
I was sure I was going to fall and seriously hurt myself. I could have hit my head very badly.
But out of nowhere, a young man rushed over and caught me just in time.
I will never forget that young man as long as I live. I truly believe he saved my life. His name is JaQuan Sanks, and he is my hero. As a small way of saying thank you for saving me, I bought him a full tank of gas.
