Recently, a video involving Lokesh went viral on social media. In the video, his wife, her mother, and her brother are seen physically assaulting him. Lokesh is seen folding his hands, touching his wife’s feet, and begging for mercy, but the assault continues.
According to the narrative shared online, Lokesh is not behaving this way because he is weak, but because he is afraid of the legal consequences he could face. It is claimed that India’s laws related to domestic disputes are heavily biased against men. Lokesh fears that if he speaks out or defends himself, his mother, sister, brother, and entire family could be dragged into legal trouble.
On the other hand, the narrative claims that his wife would not need to provide strong evidence for a case to be registered against him, and that legal action could be taken immediately.
Supporters of Lokesh argue that he is not alone. They claim there are many men across the country who are suffering in silence due to false accusations and misuse of laws. According to this viewpoint, such cases have allegedly ruined many lives, families, and careers.
