My cat, Zeus, made her choice very clear. She used to be a stray, and I had been feeding her for a few days. On the third day, when I came home from work and opened the door, she just walked right in as if she owned the place. She went straight to my bed, jumped onto it, and immediately fell asleep.
I just stood there, shrugged, and thought, “Well… I guess I have a cat now.”
Four years later, I’ve never looked back. She chose me, and it was the best surprise I could have asked for.
