When I saw her, she was hiding her face, as if she felt ashamed. Her body was thin and exhausted, but despite everything, she was doing everything she could to protect her eight newborn puppies in that cold, public space.
Authorities had been ordered to remove her, but how could anyone do that? She was a new mother, vulnerable, and terrified—yet completely devoted to keeping her babies safe.
I need to find out where they took her.
I’m ready to help in every way I can: providing food, covering the cost of her spay surgery, and working to find loving homes for each of her puppies. If possible, maybe she and her babies can come to the ranch, where they would be safe and cared for.
This happened in Vicam, Sonora, about six hours from the ranch—but distance doesn’t matter when a life needs help.
