Sweet Hensen needs our prayers, our support, and all the kindness we can send his way. At just five years old, this brave little boy is fighting brain cancer and facing challenges no child should ever have to endure. He has been struggling with seizures, poor sleep, nausea, and vomiting, making each day incredibly difficult for him and his family.
Recently, Hensen underwent another MRI, and the results brought the news his family had been fearing. His tumors have grown again. At this stage in his journey, immunotherapy is the only treatment option left, and his family is now anxiously waiting for approval, hoping it will give him a chance to keep fighting.
This is an extremely stressful and frightening time for everyone who loves Hensen. For the past two years, he has been battling choroid plexus carcinoma, showing more strength and courage than many adults ever could. Through every treatment, every hospital stay, and every painful test, Hensen has faced it all with quiet bravery and a beautiful spirit.
He is a gentle, playful child. He blows kisses. He smiles. He shines. Even in the hardest moments, his light continues to touch everyone around him. Despite everything, Hensen keeps fighting with the same courage he has shown from the very beginning.
