This is Robert. He was our waiter on a 24-night cruise two years ago on the Celebrity Constellation, traveling the Western Mediterranean and across the Atlantic.

Now we are on the Celebrity Beyond, and on our first night at dinner, Robert came to see us because he recognized our names on the reservation list. He was very kind and kept checking on us, even though we weren’t at his table.

I wrote a note to Captain Kate to tell her the story and to praise Robert and the crew. I didn’t hear back, which I expected.

But this morning, there was a big meeting with all 1,300 crew members and company leaders. They called Robert on stage, and Captain Kate read my whole note to everyone. Robert received gifts and awards from Captain Kate and the company. I’m so happy for him—he truly deserves it!

We love this ship—it’s my favorite cruise so far.
