Before answering First, allow me to say two things:
- Just because an actor or actress did not become the next A-lister that is on everyone’s lips does not mean that they did not make it. Because most of the actors/actresses others are listing in their answers still live happy lives, have families and, still have long acting careers; even if they were not directly in the spotlight.
- In my youth, I took up martial arts and my teacher was actually an internationally ranked competitor who fought people all over the world and his teacher actually went toe-to-toe in a match with Bruce Lee; so of course a lot of us students were very cocky and arrogant. My teacher once said something that I’ll never forget he said, “90% of victory is skill but, 10% is luck. Unfortunately it’s the 10% that people always forget about and just assume that they are more talented than others and therefore attribute all their success to themselves.”

Jamie Pressly is the actresses that should have been the next big thing in Hollywood; especially if you see what is currently going on with her younger doppelganger Margot Robbie’s career.

The thing is, it is not like Hollywood did not recognize her beauty or her acting skills. She has been a leading lady not just a background character, but the female lead in many big budget Hollywood movies and television shows. However, for whatever reason, she has never been able to become a household name or have her name mentioned along side other A-list actors and actresses.
I think luck plays a bigger part in success then anyone wants to admit. Many talented, hard working, smart people in many fields-not just acting-never become the next household name; and that’s okay because they’re still happy with themselves and their lives. 🙂
